Overcoming Pain

  • Posted on October 6, 2013 at 4:22 pm

Pain is usually the common underlying condition of any disease. It is more like triggering an alarm system that signals an abnormality going

on in the body. Whether it is a side effect of an existing condition or a disease in itself, most doctors treat it by giving pain killers like ibuprofen

and other stronger medications which have their own side effects when used in high doses or continuous administration.

Here is a list of ten tips as recommended in the Power of Pain blog site.

• Don’t smoke. It can worsen chronic pain.
• Learn deep breathing or meditation to help with chronic pain.
• Reduce stress in your life. Stress intensifies chronic pain.
• Boost chronic pain relief with the natural endorphins from exercise.
• Cut back on alcohol, which can worsen sleep problems.
• Join a support group. Meet others living with chronic pain.
• Track your pain level and activities every day.
• Learn biofeedback to decrease pain severity.
• Eat a healthy diet if you’re living with chronic pain.
• Find ways to distract yourself from pain so you enjoy life more.

My Philosophy: No Pain, no pain!

,

I heard the above quote “ no pain, no pain,” when I watched Elliot Krane’s video on The Mystery of Chronic Pain on Ted Talks series. I couldn’t help laughing and I thought that was an interesting quote because really, we do not have to accept pain as a normal way of life!

In many of the situations as Dr. Krane explained in the video most often the doctors treat pain symptomatically with Ibuprofen. Often exercise is another recommendation made but it is really difficult to go thru those exercises when in pain. Yet in many cases of neuropathy and arthritis that is the very thing they recommend.
Recently, I came across 2 products that seem to have helped me in giving mobility and flexibility to cope with such physical pain and helped me to follow thru the exercises which are very essential to the body. They are Real Time Pain Relief and FGXPress Power Strips, which is FDA approved and classified as Class 1 Medical Device.

There are many testimonials coming up from the users of these power strips who are suffering from various conditions such as diabetic neuropathy, fibromyalgia, arthritis, tendinitis and different kinds of chronic pain such as back pain, leg pain and shoulder pain, etc.

If you want to minimize the side effects of medications like Ibuprofen etc, then you can combine this alternative all natural medical option as well in your regimen. FGXPress Power Strips is FDA approved and classified as a Class 1 Medical Device. It not only reduces pain but also strengthens the body with all the essential nutrients and also gives Reiki energy to the body continuously when worn 24/7.
