Co-dependency vs. Interdependency

  • Posted on September 25, 2011 at 9:42 pm

We are really a product of our environment and the external forces pull us in one direction or another. During our growing years we are like sponges absorbing what is imparted to us from family, friends and associates. By the time we are sixteen years or so we start trying to find our own identity and developing a philosophy of life. That being said, I think we all invariably have to to look into our roots to see how our philosophy of life is influenced by our up bringing and family background. That is why taking this FamilyIQ test is a good place to start I think.

Every wednesday of the week, Family IQ has a product webinar where they take up one of their products and show case it. Last week I really enjoyed their webinar on the topic of “Co-dependency vs. Independency” Click here if you would like to listen to the recorded webinar.

Emotional quotient and family Iq are related topics dealing with our attitude and emotional control of our selves and our own capabilities of having healthy relationships with other people by educating ourselves about our own personalities and developing healthy skills in communication thru assessment and other self help tools provided by such a program.

We are all complex beings at the level of physical, mental, intellectual and spiritual levels.Having a positive state of mindset is the ultimate but to reach that state requires constant and intense work we need to do on our selves by our selves. Nobody can do it for us. But we can get professional help from the above programs and participating in group discussions helps us keep on track and monitor our own progress through our interaction with others.
